Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create an account?

You can sign in with your Google account by tapping the "Sign In" button on the home screen. This enables cloud saves, leaderboard access, and referral features. You can also play as a guest without an account, but your progress will only be saved locally on your device.

What is Guest Mode and what are its limitations?

Guest Mode lets you play Savannah Saga without creating an account. However, your progress is stored only on your device and cannot be recovered if you uninstall the app or clear its data. Guest users also cannot participate in leaderboards, use referral features, or sync progress across devices.

How do I earn coins?

You can earn coins by answering trivia questions correctly, completing daily challenges, maintaining streaks, achieving category milestones, referring friends, and watching optional rewarded video ads. The harder the difficulty, the more coins you earn per correct answer.

Can I buy coins with real money?

Currently, coins can only be earned through gameplay and in-app activities. Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be purchased, exchanged, or refunded for cash.

How do categories and subcategories work?

Savannah Saga features 10 main categories (such as Kenyan History, Wildlife & Nature, Sports, etc.), each with 4 subcategories. Some categories and subcategories are unlocked by default, while others can be unlocked using coins earned through gameplay.

What are titles and how do I earn them?

Titles are special achievements you earn by mastering subcategories and categories. Complete all levels in a subcategory to earn a subcategory title, and conquer all subcategories in a category to earn the category title. Titles are displayed on your profile and on the leaderboard. Titles progress from "Explorer" to "Master" to "Legend" and beyond.

How does the daily challenge work?

A new daily challenge is available every day at midnight (East Africa Time). Complete the challenge to earn bonus coins and build your streak. The longer your streak, the bigger the daily bonus. Missing a day resets your streak counter.

How do leaderboards work?

Leaderboards rank players based on their total score. There are weekly leaderboards that reset every Monday, and an all-time leaderboard. Only registered users (not guests) can appear on leaderboards. Your rank and title are visible to other players.

How do I refer a friend?

Go to the "Referral" section in the app to find your unique referral code. Share it with friends. When they sign up and complete their first game using your code, both you and your friend receive bonus coins.

I lost my progress. Can I recover it?

If you were signed in with Google, your progress is automatically backed up to the cloud. Simply sign in with the same Google account on any device to restore it. If you were playing as a guest, unfortunately, your progress cannot be recovered once the app is uninstalled or data is cleared.

The app is crashing or not loading properly. What should I do?

Try the following steps: (1) Make sure you have the latest version of the app from Google Play. (2) Restart the app. (3) Check your internet connection. (4) Clear the app cache from your device settings. (5) Restart your device. If the issue persists, please contact us with details about your device model, Android version, and a description of the problem.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the app by going to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently remove your profile, progress, coins, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone. You can also request account deletion by emailing us at support@savannahsaga.com.
